Uruguay has eliminated Italy from the World Cup behind a header goal by defenseman Diego Godin at the 81' mark against the shorthanded Italians. Mario Balotelli was substituted out of the match after a yellow card for fear of eventually being run, only to see midfielder Claudio Marchisio get shown a red card and leave them down to 10 men.
Unfortunately for the Uruguayans, they may lose Luis Suarez after he apparently bit Giorgio Chiellini of Italy prior to Godin's goal.
