Mike Tyson, a popular trash talker during his boxing era prime, has surprised many fans when he kept low-key during the pre-fight presser. Jake Paul, known for his trolling antics, called out the older pugilist and labeled "IronMike" as boring.
It had only been two days before their head-to-head clash at AT&T Stadium. The tension was all out; most of them from the side of Paul.
Mike Tyson Keeps It Chatty and Focused
Jake Paul was fully equipped to be chatty in verbal sparring, but not Mike Tyson. The latter kept it quiet and made sure that his mind was ready for the real fight, TMZ reports.
When questioned his way, Tyson made it clear that he had no use in being interested in talking. He just wanted to go in that ring and knock down Jake Paul. Not until the final question did Tyson show any kind of fire in the belly.
"There's a lot of s*** talk online saying you're going to kill me, and just nothing in person," Jake said. "It's ... I don't know. It's uh, pretty boring. Pretty f***ing boring."
Responding to what it would mean if he lost to Paul, Tyson shut down that line of thinking right away, saying failure was not an option.

Unsatisfied with Tyson's low-key attitude, Paul went ahead and created drama since he tended to make things happen for the night.
When questioned about IronMike's attitude, he condemned it, later increasing the stakes even higher when he made an individual bet with every fighter who saw Tyson winning. This made waves and kept the viewers on their toes, heightened excitement.
History of Tensions Between Tyson and Paul
This was not always the buildup to this kind of serene event, though. The two men had been at each other during an August hearing regarding an earlier altercation, building much anticipation for this bout.
Even though the press conference perhaps was not as chaotic as some fans would have liked, both fighters have staked strong claims about getting the better of one another on Fight Night.
Paul Promises to Deliver a Knockout
Despite the lackluster appeal of this press conference, both fighters still are not going to save anything in the box when it is showtime and they step into the ring.
Tyson called it part of the "biggest fight in the history of life," as Paul quipped it was going to be a knockout.
In a report by BBC, Paul said that his opponents' comments are "cute." At the time, Tyson, 58 was not even listening to every word he said.
When asked by a reporter, the older boxer said that he was not going to lose against Jake.
