Jon Jones Next Fight: Alexander Gustafsson Tattoo A Shot At Bones? 'Mauler' Predicts Knockout at UFC 178 [VIDEO]

Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson, a UFC light heavyweight with a 16-2 record best known for putting champion Jon "Bones" Jones through the toughest fight of his career, has updated his body art. A new photo of his tattoos, which represent his professional mixed martial arts record, was accompanied by a shot at Jones, whom he will rematch at UFC 178.

The ongoing tattoo, which features 16 shaded in triangles, one empty one, and one half-shaded triangle indicates his true feelings about his unanimous decision defeat vs. Jones.

"Ok, finally done with the updates on my tattoos. The Jon "Bones" Jones fight and the Jimi Manuwa are filled in. In my eyes, I won the fight again Jon Jones, but not in the judges eyes, so I filled it just half colored. The next tattoo I will do will be filled in fully when I get the belt, this time I will not leave it in the hand of the judges," Gustafsson posted.

The rematch will have even more heat behind it as Jones was accused of ducking Gustafsson. Jones did try to call out Daniel Cormier instead, however an argument can be made for Cormier as the more difficult opponent.

Jones decried "bully tactics" by UFC to force him into the Gustafsson fight, and defended his preference for Cormier on YouTube. "Asking for an undefeated Olympic wrestler and Strikeforce champion somehow makes me a coward? How about the fact that I beat Gustafsson already whether you guys like how close it was or not? It's my career, not yours," Jones laughed.

Jones has since lashed out at the UFC for leaking news that Gustafsson had signed his deal first, creating a perception that Jones was afraid of a rematch. "Originally, I just kind of identified it as being like a strong arm technique on their part. Get fans pushing for a fight prematurely." Jones continued, "I hadn't even heard that date before...I thought it was unprofessional, a bully tactic."
