OKC's Kevin Durant, who was edged out slightly by Carmelo Anthony last season for the scoring title has topped himself this year, currently giving the Thunder 31 points per game. Anthony, has averaged a tad over 27 a night for the Knicks.

When the Knicks were blown out by Oklahoma City on Christmas Anthony was not in uniform as he dealt with some knee trouble. Now he's back and the Knicks come into the game off a win, while the Thunder gave away a 14-point lead to the Orlando Magic their last time out.

"We couldn't do anything (in the second half). We were just a step slow," Durant said. "We kept running the same plays. We didn't help on the back side. We let guys cut to basket. ... There were just mental breakdowns."

Those don't figure to happen today in Chesapeake Arena, where Oklahoma City has compiled a record of 22-3. Still, Anthony has had several memorable battles with the "Slim Reaper" as both men surely recognize one another as scorers and compete for that crown.

"We don't want to give him too much space," Thunder forward Nick Collison said of Anthony. "He likes space to be able to shoot his rhythm jump shot. You have to still have sound principles on the other guys. You can't always overreact or change your habits because they have a great scorer."
