The Seahawks enter play looking for their eighth straight victory and to clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs while the 49ers are out for revenge.
Seattle is looking for a franchise-record sixth road win.
"We accomplished something; we're a playoff team, which is great to know that," coach Pete Carroll said via ESPN. "But that's not our goal, and we don't talk that way. We want to win this division, and that division gets us a chance to play at home, and that's what we're after. And then we'll talk about what comes next."
Despite losing to Seattle last time out, the 49ers are downplaying the revenge angle.
"I've never taken the revenge approach," coach Jim Harbaugh said via ESPN. "Validation, we want to play well, we want to win. ... Your goal is to win the football game. That's really all-consuming, you want to win."
Colin Kaepernick is 175-for-303 for the 49ers for 2,312 yards with 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
One of his best targets has been Anquan Boldin, who has 61 receptions for 822 yards with five scores.
Russell Wilson, meanwhile, is 198-for-305 for the Seahawks for 2,672 yards with 22 touchdowns and six picks.
On the ground, the 49ers are led by Frank Gore, who has 821 yards on the ground off of 203 carries for eight scores while Marshawn Lynch has 970 yards on the ground for the Seahawks on 224 carries while reaching the end zone nine times.
Seattle looks for another win while the 49ers hope to gain some revenge when they take the field this afternoon.
