RG3 Wife: Joe Theismann Rips Robert Griffin III For Tattoo Of New Girlfriend, 'You're Not Even Divorced Yet' [VIDEO]

For Robert Griffin III, it's out with the old and in with the new ... permanently.

The Browns quarterback is still going through a divorce from his soon-to-be ex-wife, Rebecca Liddicoat, with whom he has a daughter. Though their relationship coming to an end should be eye-opening for Griffin, he apparently hasn't learned that love can be fleeting.

Griffin recently revealed that he got a tattoo of the name of his new flame, Florida State track star Grete Sadeiko, on his arm.

Former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann is baffled by Griffin's decision to get the tattoo this early into his new relationship, especially since the Cleveland signal caller hasn't completed his divorce proceedings yet.

"No, I haven't seen any of that," Theismann said on the 'Brown and Scoop' podcast (via For The Win). "I knew Robert, and his wife and his daughter when he was here. I just found out yesterday that I guess he's separated. I don't know anything about putting a tattoo. I always try and warn people when you put a tattoo if it's a woman and you put a tattoo of a man on your body, or if it's a man and you put a tattoo of a woman's name on your body. Probably not the best thing in the world to do at some point in time because if you find another one, she's not gonna appreciate the other woman tattooed all over your body."

Griffin met Liddicoat in 2009 and they got engaged in 2010 before tying the knot in July 2013. They were together for three years, but they lived separately after the quarterback's soon-to-be ex-wife discovered he was seeing Sadeiko behind her back.

Though they lived apart, Liddicoat had hoped to resolve things and was reportedly "blindsided" by the divorce as Griffin looks to continue his relationship with Sadeiko.

Theismann believes the tattoo is outlandish since Griffin hasn't even finished his divorce proceedings yet.

"You're not even divorced yet," he said. "If you look at Robert's history of things occurring in a rapid fashion, that's the way he's been."

Griffin, 26, has completed 63.9 percent of his passes in his NFL career through three seasons and 37 games (35 starts), throwing for 8,097 yards with 40 touchdowns and 23 interceptions.

The Browns named Griffin their starting quarterback on Aug. 8 and he was 6-for-8 for 96 yards with two touchdowns in the team's 24-13 loss to Falcons last Thursday in Week 2 of the preseason.
