Jake Paul's Nemesis Tommy Fury 'Open' For a Rematch: 'Me and Him Are Set in Stone'

The much-awaited rematch between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury maybe sooner rather than later. Fury is one of the few boxers to have beaten Paul and has been vocal about fighting him once again.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will not forget him easily for this reason: he's the first boxing rival for the internet personality.

Tommy Fury Challenges to Fight vs Jake Paul

At a media conference ahead of the fight with former UFC luminary Darren Till, Fury never hid from discussing his previous opponent. He said there is "unfinished business" with Paul, and it seems he wants to get it done, TMZ learns.

"[A rematch] with Jake Paul? In a heartbeat," Fury told ESPN. "Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, I think me and him are set in stone."

Fury also seized the moment to comment on Paul's recent bout against boxing icon Mike Tyson. He downplayed the match as something more of a show than a real exhibition of a top-level boxing game.

The controversial fight, of course, got much public attention but, failed to impress Fury who claims that the sport upholds the principles of competition.

"He's only got one defeat and that's to me, so it's inevitable that we are going to get back in the ring again. I know I'm going to be an improved fighter and with him, the fights that he's taken and what he's doing, I'm not sure if he's going to improve that much," Fury said.

Speaking to IFL TV sia Secondsout, Fury even called out his win as "bank robbery."

In February 2023, Paul was defeated for the first time in his career by Fury via a split decision. The bout became a defining moment for both fighters as Fury further promoted his reputation and Paul faced his first professional defeat. However, now with this potential rematch, it promises to reignite the intense rivalry and, on top of that, redemption for Paul.

Other Fighters Taking a Shot at Jake Paul

Fury has expressed interest in a rematch, but he is definitely not the only contender with big ambitions. Young heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, among other notable names, has thrown his hat into the ring for the newbie pugilist.

Tensions are already running high as Fury prepares for his fight with Darren Till, following a heated exchange at their recent press conference that resulted in both fighters being separated, and history suggests this explosive showdown could be just what Fury needs before he focuses back on Paul.

Jake Paul could also fight Francis Ngannou inside the MMA ring, but this won't happen anytime since "The Predator" shoots down the idea of fighting the younger fighter.
