As he prepares for his Octagon debut, CM Punk has his wife right by his side.

The "Best in the World" is set to make his UFC debut on Sept. 10 at UFC 203 live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland in a welterweight fight against Mickey Gall.

The upcoming bout has been highly-anticipated and Punk's debut in the Octagon comes after rmany set-backs, but he's finally ready to show what he can do inside the cage after walking out on the WWE over two years ago.

In the run up to his UFC debut, Punk is starring in a Fox Sports documentary, called the "Evolution of Punk." The documentary will lead up to Punk's UFC debut and a behind-the-scenes photo of Punk and Lee filming it has been released:

Punk walked out on the WWE back in January 2014 amid his myriad frustrations with the company. He then signed with UFC that December, but had several setbacks prior to his debut, which most recently includes undergoing back surgery. There were reports Punk wasn't doing well in training as well, but it will all come to a head on Sept. 10.

Gall is 2-0 in the UFC and has a lot of fighting experience, while Punk will be taking part in the first MMA fight of his career. Though Punk admitted he doesn't quite have the experience of his opponent, he has no shortage of confidence entering the bout.

As for Lee, she retired from the WWE shortly after WrestleMania 31 in March 2015, mostly due to the ongoing legal battle between her husband and the company's doctor, Chris Amann.

Punk blasted Dr. Amann and many WWE executives, saying the physician misdiagnosed him on several occasions.. Dr. Amann countered with a defamation lawsuit against Punk and Colt Cabana, whose podcast was the platform for the discussion.

Lee remained with the WWE for over a year after her husband quit, but she opted to walk away after the lawsuit came to light.

While Punk anxiously awaits her debut, Lee is in the middle of promoting her book, "Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed By Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules," which is due for release on April 4, 2017.
