LeBron James Contract Rumors: Cavaliers Star Intends To Return To Cleveland [VIDEO]

LeBron James isn't bolting Cleveland again anytime soon.

The Cavaliers star and three-time NBA champion opted out of his contract, but he doesn't intend to leave the organization like he did with his infamous decision to sign with the Heat back in 2010.

James has taken longer than expected to re-sign withthe Cavaliers, but he has informed the team that he intends to re-sign soon, according to ESPN.

Reports surfaced last week that the NBA Finals MVP hasn't informed the organization of his timetable to re-sign with them, but he does intend to remain a Cavalier. James announced at the team's championship parade that he will return to the Cavaliers after opting out of his contract.

It's likely that James will sign another one and done contract with a one-year player option. The four-time NBA MVP signs one-year deals because they're better for him in the long run financially.

"Thanks to all of y'all, dog. I really appreciate it," James said during the speech, according to NJ.com. "So thank you for all the "LeBron wishes" and "coming home wishes," but I'm nothing without the group behind me, man. I'm nothing without the coaching staff. I'm nothing without the city. You guys are unbelievable. And these guys told me I've got to turn around. So I'm nothing without y'all. I love all y'all. I love all y'all, and, s---, let's get ready for next year."

James and the Cavaliers became the first team to ever rally from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals and win the series. The Cavaliers spoiled the Warriors' chances for a second straight NBA title and ended their NBA-record 73-win season with a Game 7 loss.

The three-time NBA Finals MVP notched a triple double in the decisive Game 7, putting up 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

James led the NBA Finals in every major offensive category and he hopes to return and do it again next season.
