Russell Wilson, Ciara Relationship Update: Future Drama Continues As Singer Nets Huge Loss In Court [VIDEO]

Ciara shot for the stars in her case against ex-fiancé Future and came up empty.

The fiancée of Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against her former rapper flame, but her attempt to gain sole custody of their son, Future Jr., was denied.

Ciara showed up to custody court on Monday and asked the judge to grant her sole custody of Baby Future, according to TMZ. The singer disparaged the rapper to the judge, according to the report, and said he was a bad parent, a bad person and wasn't present in their 1-year-old son's life.

Future, who has trashed Ciara in the past, requested joint custody and was granted it by the judge.

The former couple has had a tumultuous relationship ever since Baby Future was born and the "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer sued her former husband-to-be for $15 million in a defamation lawsuit.

Though this time it was Ciara dumping on Future, it was the other way around quite recently as the rapper called her a "bad mother" and took aim at her career.

The singer was very agitated after Future called her "washed up" in comments she claims only were made as a way for him to trash her due to him being "tormented" by her success and relationship. Wilson has a great relationship with Baby Future, something which has very publicly drawn the ire of the baby's father.

Ciara fought back with the lawsuit and recently said in court documents that her former fiancé is jealous of her new relationship and success.

Wilson and Ciara have been dating since early 2015 and got engaged in March. Though they are headed down the altar, all the drama with Future is reportedly weighing on their relationship.

"She's equally mad that Russell's not stepping up and publicly defending her," a source told HollywoodLife.com last month. "She's making crazy demands, telling Russell she wants to be on the cover of as many magazines as possible leading up to the wedding so she can show Future she's still A-List."
