The Packers' three-game losing streak has raised questions as to what wrong with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who looked so strong during the early stages of the 2015 NFL season.
One theory goes beyond the scope of the play of the field, according to ESPN.
Russell Wilson Warns Aaron Rodgers To Stay Humble
In listing possible reasons, the Worldwide Leader in Sports includes the following as one of its five points:
"Possible off-field issues?: A longtime NFL agent told me recently that when he sees one of his top-performing clients play differently, as Rodgers has of late, the first thing he wonders is if something is going on in his personal life. There's no indication that Rodgers' relationship status has changed. Lions reporters said they spotted Rodgers' girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Sometimes it's easy to forget that professional athletes have lives away from the field, and you never know what could be going on in their personal lives."
Lions' Glover Quin Says God Responsible For Injury To Packers' Jordy Nelson
Rodgers and Munn have been the subject of tabloid fodder since they began dating in May 2014. Rumors have included questions about Rodgers' sexual orientation and signs of an impending breakup.
One of the more unusual theories came via a Twitter account for people who comment on Milwaukee Journal Sentinel stories, according to the National Sun Times, which transcribed the tweet.
"Ever since it came out about Olivia Munn and Rodgers, and her spouting off on TV about their sex life, Rodgers is NOT a good QB. This team used to glorify God, but now there is no mention of Him from any of them. I believe God has taken His hand of blessing off of the Packers players. None of them are worth a hoot at this time. If I were coach, I'd bench Rodgers and some of the other "stars" to send them a message. If we're gonna lose, it might as well be with the backups playing. I also think Thompson, McCarthy, and Capers should be sent packing!"
Rodgers is on record as saying he doesn't believe God cares about who wins a football game, so there's that.
Packers fans are looking for Rodgers and the offense to bounce back as soon as possible, but for non-Packers fans, the entertainment value of their struggles may just be starting.
