Things To Know
--Ventura pitched in Game 1, but lasted just two innings due to a rain delay. The right-hander yielded three runs on four hits in a 5-2 loss Thursday. McCullers, who will make his playoff debut, held the Royals to one run on four hits in seven innings in his lone outing against them this season.
--Kansas City's two runs in Game 3 came on solo homers as Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon both went yard.
