Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC the New York Giants (3-7) will host the Dallas Cowboys (7-3) for a Week 12 edition of Sunday Night Football that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Giants fans can hear the radio broadcast by tuning in to 101.9 WFAN FM, while Cowboys fans may do likewise on 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys are 4-0 in 2014 away from their own stadium, which tight end Jason Witten says is a testament to the team's mental toughness. "I think this team's done a really good job of doesn't matter who, when, where," Witten said. "And that's not talk. I really believe this team's kind of bought into this is how we have to play. And when we do this we play well and when we don't we get beat."
Witten may be in line for a big night on primetime. The Giants are the third-worst defense in the NFL against opposing tight ends, while Witten's had at least five receptions in each of the past three games.
The Cowboys are saying the right things regarding overconfidence against the slumping Giants too. "We've got to ... go into every game the same," defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford said. "We've got to go in with the mindset that we've got to get this win and do whatever it takes. We can't let our records, home or away, confuse what we're really there for."
Defensively, the Giants may be in big trouble against Dallas running back DeMarco Murray. The NFL's leading rusher has piled up 100 or more yards in nine of Dallas' 10 games this year, and gashed Big Blue for 128 yards and a score back in Week 7.
