Hell in a Cell 2014 Rumors: Updated Plans For Main Event On Oct. 26 [VIDEO]

There has been a lot of speculation over whether the Randy Orton vs. John Cena or Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins cell match will close out Hell in a Cell on Oct. 26, and it appears as though the WWE has reached a decision.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE is currently planning for Orton vs. Cena to be the true main event and close out the show. Orton has previously defeated Cena inside Hell in a Cell back in 2009.

It has been noted that the WWE doesn't want the Orton vs. Cena match to be seen as the "losers match" since Cena is only facing Orton because he lost a Contract on a Pole match for the right to face Rollins at the show.

The WWE went as far as to tell the announcers not to mention that the loser of Cena vs. Ambrose would face Orton so as to not devalue the bout at Hell in a Cell.

The WWE is slated to promote both matches equally, but it is expected that Orton vs. Cena will be the match that goes on last after a lot of speculation that Rollins vs. Ambrose might be the final contest.

The WWE has loaded up the card with the two big cell matches due to the fact that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be off the card per his part-time schedule.

Three other matches have been announced for the show, including Big Show vs. Rusev, Sheamus vs. The Miz for the United States Championship and Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella with the stipulation being that the loser will have to be the winner's assistant for 30 days.

Other matches that have been rumored, but not confirmed for the show include an Intercontinental Championship match between Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro, a Divas Championship bout between AJ Lee and Paige and a Tag Team Championships contest pitting Goldust and Stardust against The Usos.

WWE Hell in a Cell emanates live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Oct. 26.
