It may not have felt like a Week 1 home game for the Dallas Cowboys when they hosted the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at AT&T Stadium due to the amount of red and gold sprinkled throughout the stands of the team's home stadium, but owner Jerry Jones refused to see it that way.

After the Cowboys fell to the 49ers 28-17 to open up their 2014 slate, Jones was in no mood to talk about what seemed like half of the estimated 91,174 fans cheering for the 49ers in Cowboys country as "America's team" didn't even seem to be the preferred team in their own stadium.
"Listen, I'm interested in the football game and what went on with the game," Jones told ESPN after the game. "It's not good when you don't win -- from any perspective, marketing or otherwise. I had my eye on those turnovers and interest on those turnovers. I'm not even sure I know what you are talking about, to tell you the truth. OK?"

One reporter told Jones it seemed like the crowd was split 50-50 as far as fan support went, but the owner and general manager wasn't buying it.
"B.S.," Jones said when told it looked like the crowd was relatively evenly split between Cowboys and 49ers fans. "I know you didn't count them. Anyway, nothing went through my mind. I was looking at the game."
Jones reiterated that he was more focused on what was happening on the field than the ratio of fans as the Cowboys look to avoid missing the playoffs for the fifth straight year after three consecutive 8-8 finishes.
"In a game like this, or any game, I just pay attention to the field," Jones said. "I won't get into that until sometime during this week, but I'll probably get any data that we get on that. But that's not something that I would really pay a lot of attention to, and the only thing I'm paying attention to is maybe the crowd noise when we got possession or we're trying to keep them from making a first down in a tight situation. ... No, I don't have any knowledge or information about the ratio of fans."
Tony Romo and the Cowboys will hope to improve in Week 2 after the signal caller went 23-for-37 for 281 yards with one touchdown, an alarming three interceptions and three sacks.
Luckily for the Cowboys, they visit the Titans in Tennessee in Week 2 at LP Field -- a place where they aren't supposed to have the support of the crowd, something they may be used to after Week 1.
