WWE Rumors: New Dates Added To Brock Lesnar's Schedule, Will 'The Beast' Win WWE Championship At SummerSlam?

The WWE has added some new dates to Brock Lesnar's schedule for the next couple of months amid speculation that "The Beast" may leave SummerSlam as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For Friday

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE has added the Aug. 18 post-SummerSlam episode of Monday Night RAW from Las Vegas and the Sept. 15 RAW in Louisiana -- which is the go-home show to Night of Champions -- to Lesnar's schedule.

Lesnar is slated to face John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and since he is booked to work through September, there are rumors he may leave L.A. with the gold.

Updated Card For SummerSlam After SmackDown Tapings

There were reports a few months ago that Lesnar would win the title from Cena at the biggest show of the summer and then drop it to him the next month at Night of Champions on Sept. 21 live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Early reports indicated that Lesnar would face Daniel Bryan for the title at SummerSlam, but those were never confirmed and Bryan ended up suffering a neck injury that has sidelined him since mid-May and there is currently no timetable for his return.

Now, Lesnar will face Cena fresh off of ending The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. It appears as though the WWE may carry that momentum into a Lesnar title run in order to make ending The Streak even more significant.

There have been early rumblings that Roman Reigns will eliminate his two former Shield partners after they emerge as the final three in the 30-man Royal Rumble match in January and then Reigns would go on to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 next March at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area, possibly for the title, but that remains to be seen.

Whether or not Lesnar leaves the Staples Center as WWE Champion on Aug. 17 is up in the air, but the WWE has penciled him in for SummerSlam and beyond.
