The Bulls fell behind 2-0 in this matchup by losing two home games, but eked out their first win in D.C. while getting in the inexperienced Wizards' heads. Game 4 will tip off without one of Washington's key cogs, Nene, after he lost his cool and got too physical with Chicago guard Jimmy Butler.

Nene's been suspended for one game for his actions, leading head coach Randy Wittman to chide his charges about walking the fine line between tough and foolish.

"There's a lot of pushing and shoving and talking," Wittman said. "We just have to be sure we're keeping our composure in that area. I don't want them stepping back at all from a physicality standpoint. Not at all. It just reaches that line, and we've got to know where that line is."

Nene was averaging 17 points and 6.3 rebounds in the series prior to this suspension, so the Bulls big men may be an even bigger factor in this crucial clash. Bulls center and 2014 Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah thinks so, calling the Nene ban a "turning point."

Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau didn't have much reaction to the news or the physicality of the series. "This is the playoffs. It's all normal stuff," Thibodeau said.
