Novak Djokovic wrist injury: Djokovic feeling no pain after announcing that he and his fiancee are expecting a baby [VIDEO]

The cure for Novak Djokovic's ailing right wrist was discovered Thursday. The remedy is called, "cloud nine."

USA TODAY Sports' For the Win posted a tweet from Djokovic that announced he and fiancée Jelena Ristic are expecting their first child.

He also posted a message to his fans on his facebook account:

"My dear friends,

You've been with me through many tough and good times in my career. I've been blessed to travel the world, play the most beautiful sport that brings me a lot of excitement and joy; i am happy, loved and healthy. Jelena and I are truly blessed to soon become parents! My love is pregnant!"

Djokovic lost to Roger Federer in the semifinals of the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters last weekend but clearly was in pain from a heavily wrapped right wrist. He announced that he would have to rest the wrist, pending an exam.

Doctors, however, said the injury was not serious and Djokovic would require only a short break before playing in tournaments in Madrid and Rome before the start of the French Open on May 25.

Nole, the No. 2 player in the world, has been in an eight-year relationship with Ristic, and the two became engaged last summer, according to For the Win. He turns 27 next month. The two have not publicly announced a wedding date.

At least, Djokovic seems to plan his family better than Federer. Federer and his wife Mirka are expecting their third child sometime around the French Open.

According to For the Win, Federer and fellow Swiss player Stan Wawrinka (Nos. 4 and 3, respectively) are the only players in the top 10 to have children.

The kids don't seem to be a distraction for those top players in the world.
