Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE sent two officials to Arizona to help out The Warrior's wife, Dana, after his unexpected passing last week. TMZ reported that the company sent officials to Arizona "almost immediately" after the Warrior's death to help Dana.
According to the report, the officials helped The Warrior's wife with little things such as grocery shopping and informing family members of the news while Dana took care of her two daughters.
The world continues to mourn the passing of a WWE legend and it has even crossed over to baseball as Miami Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones will honor The Warrior by using his music as a walk-up song for the rest of the season.
"The Ultimate Warrior was my number one favorite," Jones told TMZ. "I was a huge wrestling fan. Unfortunately, I never got to see him live, but I loved him as a wrestler. What he said was motivational. His energy, it inspired me."
The Warrior was often a controversial figure, but he'll go down in history as one of the most memorable Superstars in pro wrestling of all-time.
