Tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Yankee Stadium, one of professional sports' greatest rivalries will resume for the 2014 season as the New York Yankees (4-5) host the Boston Red Sox (4-5) in the Bronx. Watch the game on MLB Network or live stream it by clicking this link. Yankees fans can find the radio broadcast on 101.9 WFAN FM, while Red Sox fans can catch the game on 93.7 WEEI. The Sox will have Clay Buchholz (0-0, 12.46 ERA) on the hill and the Yankees will counter with Michael Pineda (0-1, 1.50 ERA).

Will Big Papi, Brian McCann fight during Boston’s Bronx visit?

Tonight's game will mark the first in the seven-year career of outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury that he isn't in a Red Sox uniform. "It was seven great years," Ellsbury said. "The guys in the clubhouse, those are relationships that I'll have for the rest of my life regardless of what uniform I'm in or the uniform they're in."

Former teammate Jonny Gomes admitted seeing Ellsbury in pinstripes will be a strange sight. "It will be a little bit interesting for the core guys who have seen him in a Red Sox uniform their whole life," Gomes said. "It will be a good series."

Ellsbury seems to like being a Yankees-he's hitting .364, with three doubles and four stolen bases in nine games. He may be licking his chops to face Buchholz, who looked very rusty in his first outing.

Before getting hurt last year Buchholz was pitching like a Cy Young candidate, and vowed that his woeful opener won't affect him going forward. "I've been around for a little bit. You can't dwell on your last start," Buchhoz said. "It just happens sometimes."

While Buchholz pitched poorly, he escaped with a no-decision while Pineda pitched well in his first start in two seasons only to get a loss. Getting a loss is always frustrating, but Pineda seems happy just to be out on the mound.

"I'm very happy about everything, because everything is doing good, and that's what I'm looking for," Pineda said. "I've been working hard for the last two years to be here, and I'm happy with it."
