Sri Lanka was impressive in their last warm up, taking it to India by putting up 153 in the first innings, and proving to possess a deep stable of quality spinners like Sachitra Senanayake, Ajantha Mendis and Rangana Herath. With the bats, Sri Lanka looked to be in good shape, but would like to see Tillakaratne Dilshan improve on his form after missing the Asia Cup. He had just 9 from 20 balls in the first warm up since healing from his injuries, and will be a key cog going forward.
The West Indies are heavily reliant on their own crew of spinners, led by star Sunil Narine. "Spinners will play a key role but I think at the end of the day it will be whole team effort," Narine said. "I think all of our guys are keen on taking the challenge. "We have a good bunch of guys going out there and we will give it our all. With Badree in the team and Santokie, I think that's a good combination. I think it sets the right tone and they tend to always pick up early wickets so it makes it easier on me later in the game."
