"The Animal" Batista emerged victorious Sunday night in the 30-man over-the-top-rope match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Pittsburgh, but despite winning his first Rumble match since 2005, Batista was legitimately upset with fans following the show as they continued to chant for Daniel Bryan and completely hijacked his win.
According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Batista was legitimately upset at the fans for their reaction to him winning the match and even flipped off a few fans while yelling at them on his way up the ramp after the show went off the air. Batista, as expected, won the 30-man match and will now go on to face Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX on April 6.
Reports indicate that fans booed "The Animal" after the event went off the air and he even mocked the "Yes!" chant that fans were screaming for Bryan. Bryan had faced Bray Wyatt in a singles match earlier on in the night but was held out of the Rumble match, to the ire of the live crowd.
A photo of Batista yelling at the fans can be viewed here. Despite his legitimate anger, Batista took to Twitter to share his happiness over the Rumble victory:
Awesome night! And @VinceMcMahon walked away from my Royal Rumble win healthy and happy.. Love me or hate me thanks to everyone who watched.

Bryan seemed upset with WWE officials because he was held out of the Rumble match despite the fans clear demands to see him wrestle in it. He took to Twitter to share his frustrations:
They try to keep US down and away from the top spots, but they can’t ignore the reactions forever. Keep voicing your opinions. #YESMovement — Daniel Bryan (@WWEDanielBryan) January 27, 2014
Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there was a lot of negative feedback from fans as they exited the Consol Energy Center Sunday night in Pittsburgh, and there was some heat from WWE officials on Batista backstage for his actions, which included him mocking the Bryan chant by sticking his middle fingers up in the air instead of his pointer fingers like Bryan does.
Batista flipped the fans off one more time before heading backstage to close the show.
Despite his antics, it doesn't seem like the WWE will change their plans and it appears as though Batista will still take on Orton at WrestleMania XXX.
