The Canucks are coming off of a loss and are playing their third game in four nights while Chicago hasn't played since Tuesday and is coming off of a victory. The first time these two teams played, the Blackhawks defeated the Canucks 2-1 on Nov.23 in Vancouver.

The Blackhawks defeated the Nashville Predators Tuesday 3-1. The team has enjoyed two days off and had their annual holiday skate on Thursday with their families, NHL.com reports.

"It's been a great season so far. We're having fun," captain Jonathan Toews told NHL.com "I think it's nice to enjoy moments like this because we have been playing so many games and working really hard to get to where we are."

Toews is third on the team with 33 points off of 13 goals and 20 assists while Patrick Sharp ranks second with 34 points off of 16 tallies and 18 helpers and Patrick Kane leads the way with 20 markers and 26 assists for 46 points and is on a 10-game point streak.

The Canucks are coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Thursday and will hope to bounce back against the defending Stanley Cup champions.

"It's our first game we haven't got a point in, I think, nine or 10 games," coach John Tortorella said via NHL.com following the loss to Dallas. "We need to move by it and not overthink this and get ready to play our next game."

Daniel Sedin (11 goals, 21 assists) and Henrik Sedin (nine goals, 23 assists) each have 32 points for Vancouver while Ryan Kesler (15 tallies, 11 helpers) and Mike Santorelli (eight tallies, 18 helpers) each have 26 points.

Vancouver is likely to go with Roberto Luongo tonight and he is 16-9-6 with a 2.26 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage while with their top two goalies sidelined with lower-body injuries, Chicago is likely to go with Antti Raanta, who is 7-1-1 with a 2.26 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

The Canucks will look to find their winning ways while the Blackhawks hope to continue their dominance after two days off when the lights come up at the United Center tonight in Chicago.
