Sasha Banks is working her way back from a concussion and she received high praise from a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
"The Boss" was one of the top talents in NXT and helped put women's wrestling on the map on the main roster with her Triple Threat match at WrestleMania against reigning champion Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Since then, Banks has been noticeably absent from WWE television.
It's believed that a head injury sidelined Banks, but she's cleared to return to the ring, according to F4WOnline.com, and it's expected she'll compete this weekend at live events in Canada.
There were rumors Banks would undergo evaluations this weekend, but apparently she's already passed the tests. Hopefully now the WWE will utilize her to her full potential.
Returning WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently took part in a Twitter Q&A on the Twitter handle for his The Black and The Brave Wrestling Academy, which he co-owns, and when asked which women's wrestler he'd most like to team with, "The Architect" chose Banks:
#AskBlackandBrave @BlackandBrave @WWERollins if given the chance, what woman superstar would you like to team up with in a match?

Though Banks didn't win the Women's Championship at WrestleMania, It is expected that the former NXT standout will get crowned Women's' Champion at SummerSlam in August, but that remains to be seen.
Banks is likely to carry the division into the future as she has the look, character and in-ring talent to be the next face of the division. Banks was held of screen prior to the injury and had to downplay her frustration over not being used.
"The Boss" has a lot of support from the WWE Universe and WWE Hall of Famers have even taken notice as Bret Hart, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and, most recently, Trish Stratus, have heaped praise on Banks.
"Sasha, to me, is a star," Stratus told Sports Illustrated. "There are a lot of comparisons, but I don't think we are that similar, actually, at all. But she's the star of the division, and she's the one. She really knows her character, she owns her character, and she's so solid in the ring."
