It has not been a good couple of weeks for Adam Rose.

Just weeks after being suspended by the WWE for 60 days due to a wellness violation for taking a banned substance, the Social Outcasts stable member was arrested.

Rose, 36, was arrested at around 1:30 Wednesday morning at his Florida home on a domestic violence charge after he allegedly grabbed his wife, Cassandra, by her face during an argument, according to TMZ.

The WWE Superstar was also booked for felony tampering with a witness for grabbing the phone out of Cassandra's hands after she called 911. The reason for their argument was listed as "marital problems," per the police report. Rose is being held without bail until his arraignment.

Last month, the WWE announced that Rose and fellow performer Konnor were banned for 60 days for a wellness violation. It marked the second time both Superstars tested positive for a banned substance.

The policy was set in place to crack down on usage of performance enhancers, illegal substances and different types of medication given the bad publicity the WWE has received over the years.

It's hard to imagine Rose lasts much longer in the WWE due to his two flunked drug tests and his domestic violence arrest.

Domestic violence is never okay, but the world is even more sensitive to it these days as the entire sports realm begins to implement policies to crack down on it and hopefully prevent it from happening.

Major League Baseball just started its own policy and after Yankees pitcher Aroldis Chapman served a 30-game ban this season for violating it, Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes could face up to a 60-game punishment.

Rose also may have some heat on him for speaking out against the WWE following his failed test, publicly tweeting a doctor's note that revealed the company knew what he was taking:

It's also bad timing for the wrestler because the WWE is going through its annual spring cleaning, releasing a lot of Superstars and personalities from their contracts.

The list of Superstars released over the last week includes King Barrett, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito, Zeb Colter and The Brooklyn Brawler, among others.

Given Rose's actions as of late, it wouldn't be surprising to see him added to the list soon.
