John Cena made his WWE return at WrestleMania 32, but that doesn't mean he's ready for a full-time comeback.
The "Cenation" leader has been absent for months due to a shoulder injury, which was surgically repaired in January. Cena teased being involved in WrestleMania 32, and he made his presence known at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
After Cena's WrestleMania XXVIII and XXIX opponent The Rock dispatched of Erick Rowan in six seconds, he was surrounded by The Wyatt Family. That's when the 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his triumphant return, helping The Rock fend off the heel stable.
Though Cena was fully dressed in his in-ring gear, it doesn't mean he'll be ready to wear it again anytime soon. The face of the franchise may not really be cleared for a full-on return, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc).
Even though Cena was good enough to return for the run-in, word is he isn't ready for a full-time comeback to active competition.
Earlier reports intimated that Cena may not be ready to wrestle until July, with mid-May being the earliest. Cena teased an involvement in the run up to WrestleMania 32 and also claimed he was cleared to wrestle again in a recent interview.
"If you ask me today, I should've been back two weeks ago," Cena told Complex Magazine in an interview published on April 1. "I've logged almost 400 hours of physical therapy. I got 111 visits in 12 weeks time. I go every single second I can. People say I have a Wolverine-like style of recovery. I was given a nine month quota to come back and after three months I can tell you that I am ready to do anything asked of me possible. It's a matter of when they call me."
Cena was called upon to make a comeback, sort of, at WrestleMania and later tweeted about it:
Thank you @WWEUniverse and @TheRock for a surreal #WrestleMania "they" told me it was impossible, "they" don't know who they're F'n with!

The "Cenation" leader's status remains murky, but considering he didn't appear on "RAW" Monday night, there may be more than meets the eye with his recovery.
