Colin Kaepernick is still awaiting his fate for the 2016 season, but in the meantime, he certainly seems to be enjoying his offseason.
The 49ers quarterback has been seeking a trade, but so far, talks have stalled between the 49ers and the other teams. In the meantime, Kaepernick is taking it easy.
Kaepernick spent Easter Sunday in Wisconsin and he didn't go alone as he brought along his girlfriend, Nessa Diab. The quarterback and his flame were seen in photographs posted on social media.
It is believed that Kaepernick spent time with Diab and his family in Wisconsin over Easter weekend, according to Larry Brown Sports. Diab is a DJ and television personality based out of New York City and was linked to Kaepernick's former teammate Aldon Smith before dating him.

It seems things are getting serious between Kaepernick and Diab since they're taking holiday trips together. Kaepernick reportedly wanted to be dealt to the Jets, who have still not re-signed incumbent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, as a way to be closer to his girlfriend.
That could still be a possibility, however his $11.9 million contract is set to become fully guaranteed on Friday. New 49ers coach Chip Kelly has already said the team won't be cutting Kaepernick, but they could still try to trade him.
The problem is, however, they're running out of options. The Browns are out of the game now that they've signed Robert Griffin III, leaving the Broncos as one of the only teams left in the hunt.
San Francisco and Denver haven't been able to come to terms on a deal, but talks are ongoing.
"I've had discussions with several teams and it's gone no further than that, as [Kaepernick's] agents have had several discussions [with teams]," San Francisco general manager said last week, according to OregonLive.com. "We're nowhere near getting anything done at this point."
For now, Kaepernick is just enjoying the offseason and his time close to Diab.
