BLUES vs BLACKHAWKS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Chicago

Tonight at 8:00 p.m., the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks (4-1-1, 9 points) will host the St. Louis Blues (4-1-0, 8 points) at the United Center in NHL action that can be live streamed online here. Blackhawks fans can hear the game on 720 WGN, while Blues fans can listen to the game on 1120 KMOX.

The Blackhawks will be seeking retribution from St. Louis win over them last Wednesday, in which they practically stole a point away from Chicago by scoring a game-winning goal with 21 seconds left in the third period.

"You've got to get that game to overtime," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said. "You take one (point) maybe two. You don't get none. That's unacceptable. ... There was not a lot of mistakes. We played a good game. But you can't make a mistake like that."

Since that defeat, the Blackhawks' only loss so far this year, they've reeled off three consecutive victories including a shootout win against Carolina Tuesday. "The team got the win and we're moving forward to a big game on Thursday," center Patrick Sharp said after beating the Hurricanes two days after his second child was born.

Through their early success though, the Blues loss still has them blue. "We're not complaining. We could have had points in every game. If we didn't have that game in St. Louis, we'd probably be pretty happy," Quenneville said.

Meanwhile Blues center Maxim Lapierre will likely be missing significant time due to a suspension following his brutal hit on San Jose Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle. Lapierre whacked Boyle into the boards from behind, and Boyle needed to be stretchered off the ice.

"When you don't hold your competitive discipline and composure, things can unravel," coach Ken Hitchcock said. "They came in and played the right way. We didn't, and we paid for it."
