Ronda Rousey WWE Rumors: 'Rowdy' Critiques The Divas Revolution, Wants To Be A Part Of It [VIDEO]

Ronda Rousey wants to be a part of the ongoing Divas Revolution, but it doesn't mean she likes everything she sees from the ladies of wrestling.

The WWE has made it a mission to improve its Divas division by focusing more on compelling storylines and longer matches. It has worked to varying success, but the effort is at least evident by the NXT call ups in current Divas Champion Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.

Paige Wants A Piece Of A WWE Hall Of Famer

Rousey, the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion and an avid wrestling fan, is glad to see the NXT Divas changing the landscape of the main roster, but she also said the WWE could be doing more to spike the true revolution.

"I'm really encouraged by the progress I've seen with what they're doing with the women in WWE, but I feel like there's a lot more than can be done," Rousey told Rolling Stone. "They're doing some of it now, too. I'm really excited that they've brought up all these great women from NXT, who are all different from the normal mold they would use for the Divas division. I'm not going to take credit for anything, but I definitely want to be part of it as much as I can."

Kane Wants Ronda Rousey To Join The WWE

"Rowdy" was a huge part of the action at WrestleMania 31 last March when she got involved in a memorable segment. Rousey came to the aid of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and took out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in front of a raucous crowd at Levi's Stadium in California's Bay Area.

After the segment, it appeared Rousey was slated to resurface in the WWE again, but UFC president Dana White described the appearance as a "one-off," and the undefeated MMA fighter doesn't do any outside projects without his approval. Rousey's schedule is also very busy as she's begun branching out into the world of movies and has a bout with Holly Holm on Nov. 14 in Australia.

Never one to be deterred, Rousey has said she will somehow find a way to return to the squared circle and even hinted at a possible WWE career once she calls it a day in the Octagon.

Charlotte even extended a challenge to Rousey for her Divas Championship anytime she wants one.

"I'm ready," Rousey said. "I'm a huge fan wrestling, and I would like to see the position of women in the sport continue to improve, so if I can be a part of it, great."
