Dallas’ defense in overtime was offensive last night, but maybe not as offensive as Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s tweet about it. These days people find ways to link immigration to just about any topic- - even Sunday Night Football.
*#%>¥! @Cowboy defense. More porous than the Texas border.

Abbott was referring to Drew Brees’ 400th career touchdown pass to C.J. Spiller in overtime, an 80-yard strike that happened because of a blown coverage. Brees finished the game with 359 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while Mark Ingram, Spiller, and Khiry Robinson added 103 yards rushing.
Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Advice: Week 5
While Abbott should probably choose his words better, he isn’t wrong about the Cowboys’ defense. They have yet to allow fewer than 335 total yards to an opponent this season, and they’ve given up 100-plus yards rushing in each of their last three tilts.
Their defense should improve dramatically moving forward. Defensive end Greg Hardy and linebacker Rolando McClain are both due back from suspension in Week 5, although the jury is out on oft-injured linebacker Sean Lee, who left Sunday night’s game with a concussion. At least baseball is cheering Abbott up.
