Twitter can be used for a lot of things, and seems Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond and former iCarly actress Jennette McCurdy, used the social media site as a match-maker.
According to The Detroit Free Press, McCurdy, 21, who played Sam on the show iCarly from 2007-12, and Pistons big-man Drummond, 20, recently met through Twitter.
Apparently it was Drummond who publicly made the first move on the media site as well as Instagram, posting pictures of McCurdy with the hash tag #WCW, which stands for 'Woman Crush Wednesday.' McCurdy eventually noticed Drummond and acknowledged him on social media, according to reports from the Detroit Free Press, and the two began to flirt through the social media site and eventually started hanging out after meeting each other for the first time last week.
Now the two spend a lot of their time positing pictures together on Instagram.
While it's unknown whether or not the two are dating, a photo of the two can be seen below courtesy of McCurdy's Instagram.
Drummond, standing at 6-foot-10 compared to McCurdy's 5-foot-3, is entering his second season with the Pistons after averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in his rookie campaign last year. The Pistons were 29-53 last year and finished in fourth place in the Central division while missing the playoffs for the fourth straight season.
The Pistons tip off the season against the Washington Wizards Oct. 30 at home, but until then Drummond will continue to post pictures with McCurdy on social media.
