Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker will face-off at Hell in a Cell, and in many ways it will unofficially kickoff the road to WrestleMania 32.
Fall Wrestling Preview: 10 Things We Want To See
There were rumors that The Undertaker and Lesnar would clash for the third and final time at WrestleMania in AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 3, 2016, but the WWE opted to have them face off at the Staples Center on Sunday, Oct. 25. This means they'll have unique matchups for the "Show of Shows" when it rolls around.
Though Sting is injured and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has aggressively shot down rumors of a return match, here's a month-by-month layout of booking 'Taker and Lesnar leading into clashes with Sting and Austin, respectively, at WrestleMania.
You can take my name off the rumor mill as a Brock Lesnar opponent at WM32. Bullshit reporting.

October
It's tough to say who should win the encounter between "The Beast" and "The Deadman" as Lesnar has looked unstoppable and should probably remain that way up against an aging 'Taker. Still, The Undertaker did Lesnar and the WWE a huge favor by giving up The Streak when the feud began at WrestleMania XXX. Either way, this should be the final salvo in the feud.
November
It's likely that neither man is used very much in November, but the WWE really needs to turn the Survivor Series back into the must-see event it once was. The Undertaker could take time off to stay healthy for WrestleMania 32, while Lesnar should captain a Survivor Series team and serve as the sole survivor to remain strong.
December
This month will likely be skipped for both men as they have limited-appearance deals and TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs isn't really up to their speed.
January
The WWE should really start building for WrestleMania around the Royal Rumble time. In our scenario, The Undertaker comes out during the Rumble event and makes an announcement that he's calling it a career. As he speaks, the crow sounds and out comes Sting. "The Vigilante" says he's done it all in wrestling, but he's never been able to face 'Taker in the ring. He says he wants the chance before both men call it a career, and the match is teased for WrestleMania without The Undertaker truly accepting.
As for Lesnar, he decides he wants the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back, so he enters the Royal Rumble Match determined to win a main event spot at WrestleMania. With "The Beast" looking unstoppable, the glass shatters and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is a surprise entrant. He eliminates a shocked Lesnar, who snaps and throws him over the top rope before hitting an F-5 through a table. This way, Austin returns, but doesn't get to wrestle yet, preserving the mystique for WrestleMania.
February
This month could be used for limited buildup to WrestleMania on the weeks Lesnar, Austin, 'Taker and Sting are available to appear on RAW. For Lesnar, he will beg Austin to come out of retirement for a singles match so that he can destroy him, while Sting would take a Bray Wyatt-like approach to goading 'Taker out of retirement. At Fastlane, the WWE can have Lesnar and Austin do a contract signing, making the WrestleMania match official.
March/April
Lesnar and Austin continue to feud and have showdowns on RAW, while The Undertaker emerges and agrees to one final match with Sting. Come April 3, both bouts happen at AT&T Stadium with Lesnar and Sting going over to end the two legendary careers of their adversaries.
