Tito Ortiz Next Fight: Kimbo Slice 'Has A Bone To Pick' With Former UFC Champion [VIDEO]

Tito Ortiz is no longer at the top of the mixed martial arts game, or even very close to the top really, but his name remains one that interests fans. Even though Ortiz was beaten soundly Saturday night by Liam McGeary, fans want to know what's next for him.

Ortiz is weighing retirement. After the fight he said he planned to "chill out" for a while before deciding his next move.

Joe Rogan Questions Whether Kimbo-Shamrock Was Fixed

"I'm gonna chill for a little bit. I'm just gonna enjoy this time right now. I missed out on the summer; I missed out on a lot of time with my family. I'm 40 years old, man. I've been doing this sh*t for 18 and a half years, a lot longer than everyone up here has been doing it," Ortiz said.

"I've had some major surgeries: back surgeries, neck surgeries, knee surgeries.[I'm going to] let my body heal a little bit; let my mind heal a little bit. I still love training. I want to hang out with my kids a little bit, wake up in the morning and take them to school. Be a dad for a little bit. I'm gonna enjoy myself."

As a fighter with a litany of injuries, and four losses in his last six fights, hanging it up seems logical. Except, Ortiz still sells. And so does Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice. His fight vs. Ken Shamrock at Bellator 138 in June. Financially, a fight many MMA fans decried as a joke was a huge success, and Slice is not opposed to pulling off a similar trick vs. Ortiz.

"For sure. I got a bone to pick with that dude, man," Slice said of Ortiz. "Ain't no problem with him yet, but you know, from back in the Strikeforce days, I was hearing sh*t about him calling me out and talking sh*t about me, so yeah, we could definitely put that in the making. He's gotta have a problem with my hand game."

Slice's win over Shamrock was easily the biggest of his brief MMA career, but it can hardly be considered too impressive. Shamrock is 51 years old, hadn't fought in five years, and had lost seven of his nine fights prior to facing him. Two of those losses came against Ortiz.
