It was a lose-lose sketch for all involved.
The veteran courtroom sketch artist who made New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady look less than attractive during his time in court over his Deflategate settlement case told the New York Daily News and the Dan Patrick Show that she has been the subject of cyber-bullying over the sketch.
Fortunately for Jane Rosenberg, a courtroom artist for 35 years, she is giving as good as she's getting.
"People are seeking me out in private emails and saying really mean things," she said. "People who want to be art critics and mean-spirited, nasty. It just makes me wanna laugh. They're sad losers."

Rosenberg, however, went on to apologize to Brady.
"Tell Tom Brady I'm sorry," Rosenberg said after the furor erupted. "He's a very good-looking man. I apologize. If I had more time, I would have made him more handsome."
She added in an interview with Patrick that despite the bulk of the messages she has received, not all of the emails have been vicious.
"Oh, lots of them. I don't do social media, I don't do Twitter or Facebook, so there must be millions more, but people found me on my personal e-mail and just started writing me nasty comments," she said. "It's shocking that people would waste their time to do this. Why bother? What's the point for people to write these things? But I did get a lot of support, too; that was very nice."
Rosenberg said she wondered whether she would have hurt feelings the day after her sketch went viral on social media.
"I thought I might be depressed when I woke up, but I haven't had time to be in touch with my feelings," she said.
But she said she doesn't like the attention the sketch has brought to her work.
"I'm going to be under some microscope, which makes me miserable," she said. "When I'm sketching, I'm my own critic. I don't want to think about anybody else looking at it."
