In what will surely last longer than most of her fights, UFC star Ronda Rousey is slated to star in a Paramount Pictures biopic based on her autobiography.

According to ESPN, the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion will star in a movie based on her autobiography, My Fight/Your Fight, which she co-wrote with her sister, Maria Burns Ortiz, and was published earlier this year.

Screenwriter Mark Bomback, who penned such films as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and The Wolverine, will adapt the book for the big screen.

Rousey, 28, already made waves this week after she knocked out Beth Correa in 34 seconds during their fight at UFC 190 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.

Rousey dedicated the fight to WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest. Rousey derives her "Rowdy" nickname from the wrestling icon.

The bantamweight champion has plenty of experience in acting as she appeared in movies such as Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage.

Rousey is also set to work on a film entitled Mile 22 later this year.

"Rowdy's" next opponent is slated to be Miesha Tate at a date to be determined later this year. Rousey has forced Tate to submit on two separate occasions and this will mark her seventh defense of her title.

According to ESPN, the UFC has targeted Dec. 5 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas as the time and place for Rousey and Tate's next encounter, which would co-headline UFC 194 with a featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

After a 12-0 start to her UFC career, Rousey's journey will now be chronicled on the big screen.
