Tom Brady Name-Calling: Jets Fans Buy New Jersey Billboards Calling Him 'Tom Shady' [VIDEO]

A villainous Tom Brady has become good business for New Jersey billboard sales and the New York Jets.

The New York Daily News is reporting that a group of anonymous Jets fans have paid for 12 electronic billboards in New Jersey, referring to Brady as #TomShady that went up Tuesday morning. The message includes the Jets' signature rallying cry, "J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!"

Carly Zipp, communications director for Outfront Media, which owns the billboards, told the Daily News that her group received a request from a body of "anonymous Jets fans."

The Daily News used "Tom Shady" as a headline on Sunday in reference to Brady's refusal to admit guilt in directing the Patriots equipment personnel to let the air out footballs he was going to use in the AFC title game beyond the NFL minimum standard.

"Jets fans are very opinionated," said Zipp, who would not reveal how much the group spent. "Because billboards are something that is seen by everyone, they knew the power of message and they wanted to it get it out."

It's the biggest response out from anyone associated with the Jets over Brady's four-game suspension for his involvement in Deflategate. The NFL fined the Patriots $1 million and took away a first-round draft choice in 2016 and a fourth-rounder in 2017 in connection with 12 underinflated footballs discovered during the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Daily News previously reported that Suzanne Johnson, wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson, directed a tweet to the Patriots official Twitter account with a link to an NFL.com story about Brady's suspension that included a smiley face emoji. That tweet was deleted a short time later, according to the Daily News.
