Money In The Bank 2013, RVD Return To WWE: Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar Best Feuds For Rob Van Dam? [ECW One Night Stand 2006 VIDEO]

On Sunday Rob Van Dam will make his highly anticipated return to World Wrestling Entertainment in the "Money in the Bank" ladder match, which pits six grapplers in a ladder match where the goal is to ascend the ladder and retrieve a briefcase.

The briefcase gives its owner the opportunity to challenge the current champion to a title match at any time. This Sunday night, Van Dam will take to the ring along with CM Punk, Christian, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and Sheamus in one of the most star-studded Money in the Bank matches in WWE history.

RVD hasn't fought in the WWE since 2010, but remains popular for his high-flying, risk-heavy ring style. He also owns one of WWE's iconic victories over John Cena at ECW One Night Stand in 2006. RVD's win was shocking, as Cena's stock in the WWE was skyrocketing and fan reaction to him was at its most mixed.

Whether or not RVD wins the Money in the Bank match this Sunday, his flashy style and adaptability have fans salivating over the possibilities. One man he could engage with would be Daniel Bryan, fast becoming the most popular wrestler in the WWE.

Bryan is a five feet, 10 inch, 210 lb. ball of fire who fights in a fashion similar to Van Dam, only in a smaller package. He is a former champion and has serious credibility with the hardcore fanbase. Technically speaking, Bryan's name is uttered alongside standouts like Punk and Chris Jericho, so he and Van Dam could produce classics.

They have also never faced off before, so the novelty alone could carry a storyline for months.

Another route WWE could travel is to involve him with the best manager in wrestling these days, Paul E. Heyman. They could parlay the strong ECW ties between RVD and Heyman, and involve him in a feud with the hulking Brock Lesnar.

Despite his size, Lesnar, a formwe UFC heavyweight champion, is agile and imposing enough to provide a nice contrast to RVD's eye-pleasing approach.

No matter who he faces down the road, RVD is a welcome addition back to the WWE, and fans will be able to enjoy great matches for quite a while.
