Hiroki Kuroda (6-5, 2.84 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Bronx Bombers, who have gotten hit hard by the red-hot A's, who are 7-3 in their last 10 games. As for the Yankees, "Bronx Bombers" hasn't been an apt description in the last five games; during that span the Yankees have failed to hit a single home run.

"I'll take that," said Moss, batting .228. "It's not where I want to be, obviously. I'd much rather be getting hits also."
