WWE Rumors: Backstage Reaction To Fans Canceling Their WWE Network Subscriptions And Reacting To Royal Rumble 2015 [VIDEO]

The WWE Universe responded to the Royal Rumble by creating the hashtag #CancelWWENetwork and many fans did just that following the event.

The crowd was livid at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia when Daniel Bryan entered at No. 10 and was the first man eliminated. Things got even worse when Roman Reigns came out at No. 19 and was the last man standing as the 2015 Rumble Match winner.

The #CancelWWENetwork hashtag was trending on Twitter on Sunday night and then again into Monday, but while some fans did in fact cancel their subscriptions, the WWE didn't think it was a significant amount.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there wasn't a large amount of subscriptions canceled and the feeling backstage is that most of the noise is just buzz from angry fans, not people actually wanting to cancel their WWE Network deals.

The feeling is that the WWE Universe is using the hashtag to voice their displeasure with how the Royal Rumble played out, especially due to Bryan's early elimination at the hands of Bray Wyatt.

There were also some problems in certain places with the WWE Network stream of the Royal Rumble event Sunday night as it buffered at some points.

According to the report, those problems weren't widespread and there were no issues on the WWE's end. The feeling is that the problems were localized and it wasn't an issue on the WWE's side.

Many fans have continued to voice their frustrations on social media as Roman Reigns will now end up going on to battle Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 live form Levi's Stadium in California on March 29.

It's unclear what Bryan's role will be now, but there were rumors in the past that he might take on Seth Rollins at the "Show of Shows."
