**END UPDATE** Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was reportedly involved in a car accident in Charlotte, North Carolina, and taken to a nearby hospital. According to reports, Newton was seen laying on his back in pain at the scene of the accident near an overturned vehicle. It has not been confirmed whether the flipped car belongs to Newton.
