CM Punk Return WWE: 3 Potential Feuds For 'Best In The World' If He Came Back To Wrestling [VIDEO]

It doesn't appear as though CM Punk will be returning to the WWE as things are hostile between the two sides since the "Best in the World" opted to walk out on the company in January, but his absence has robbed the WWE Universe of some potentially great feuds.

With Punk no longer a part of the WWE, several feuds that he could have engaged in have gone to the wayside, and Sports World News will look at three potential great feuds Punk could have if he were to return to the WWE.

Bray Wyatt: Punk and Daniel Bryan paired up to face The Wyatt Family last year, but a lengthy Punk vs. Bray Wyatt feud never came to fruition in what was missed potential by the WWE.

If Punk were to come back, a feud with Wyatt would be great as both men could rip into one another on the microphone and their styles would make for an interesting clash in the ring.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as though the "Eater of Worlds" or the "Straightedge Superstar" will cross paths anytime soon.

Seth Rollins: Punk stands as the only man to ever win two consecutive Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, and what better way to exploit it than to have him feud with the reigning "Mr. Money in the Bank" in Rollins.

Punk won the barbaric match at WrestleMania XXIV in 2008 and then again at WrestleMania XXV in 2009. Rollins is fresh off of winning the briefcase at this year's Money in the Bank pay-per-view. While Punk was involved with the now-defunct Shield in the past, he never had a one-on-one feud with Rollins.

Both men have Indie and Ring of Honor backgrounds and the two could put on a great series of matches if they were ever to feud in the WWE, especially with Rollins now a cocky heel, a persona which Punk has played amazingly throughout his career.

Sting: While it isn't set in stone, Steve "Sting" Borden is rumored to have a match next March at WrestleMania 31. While Sting has mentioned The Undertaker and Triple H as potential opponents, Punk would also make a great foil.

Considering Sting will likely be a babyface, a heel Punk trashing his legacy would be great. Punk has never been shy in real life about how much he despises part-timers, so Punk could bash Sting for thinking he deserves a match at the Show of Shows when he has never been in the WWE before.

Furthermore, Punk could criticize Sting for making a name in the now-defunct WCW and a 'B' promotion like TNA, though he wouldn't have to say the latter one by name. A mean heel in Punk vs. all-around good guy and babyface Sting would make a great match, but unfortunately it's unlikely the two will ever clash in a WWE ring.

Punk has recently said he is "never ever" returning to the squared circle, but if he did, these three feuds would be must-see for the WWE Universe.
