Chad Johnson Homeless Man: Former Bengals Star Chad Johnson, Formerly Known As Chad Ochocinco, Spends Weekend With "Adopted" Homeless Man

Chad Johnson, who went by the name Chad Ochocinco for several years, had a bizarre weekend with a homeless man named Pork Chop that was documented on Twitter. Pork Chop's first name is Robert, according to Johnson, but he did not know his own last name. Johnson said the wild weekend began when Pork Chop asked him for beer. Johnson bought him the beer, a pack of cigarettes and decided to hang out with him.

Johnson tweeted, "That episode The Kardashians took the homeless guy and cleaned him up? Can I do the same and take this guy out tonight or that's a bad idea?" He also tweeted that he gave Pork Chop a G-Shock watch, was listening to Frankie Beverley and Maze on his iPhone and just "living it up."

Johnson tweeted out photos of Pork Chop trying on clothes at Urban Outfitters; he took Pork Chop shopping so he could have nice clothes to go out to a club later in the evening. Johnson even tweeted that he believed he could help find Pork Chop a female friend for the night.

He spent Sunday with Pork Chop as well, dancing to salsa music and eating around town. When the weekend was over, Johnson tweeted "I'm using all the resources available to help the best way I can."

The odd weekend was even more surprising due to Johnson's relatively low profile since being cut by the Miami Dolphins on camera during HBO's Hard Knocks. Johnson did not latch on with any team last season; his last stint in the NFL was in 2011 with the New England Patriots, who made it to the Super Bowl largely in spite of Johnson's ineffectiveness. He caught a mere 15 passes for New England, racking up 276 yards and one touchdown.

The 35-year-old pass catcher has tweeted the Houston Texans that he thinks he can help them, and is desperately trying to get a shot to make a team.
