Tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings faceoff for Game 6 of their best-of-seven Western Conference Finals series live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Chicago looks to win while facing elimination for the second straight game to force a Game 7 back home while Los Angeles tries to wrap the series up in six games on home ice.

The defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks won Game 5 in double overtime off of a goal by Michal Handzus, and now they're hopeful to win another game to force Game 7 on home ice.

"We know what we're capable of in our room, and we're not going to throw it away," captain Jonathan Toews told NHL.com. "We're not going to go away easy. We want to take advantage of it. We made it this far. We're going to keep fighting, and we're going to keep playing as hard as we can." 

Toews (eight goals, seven assists) and Patrick Kane (six tallies, nine helpers) are tied for the postseason lead with 15 points while Marian Hossa has found the back of the net twice and added 12 assists for 14 points and Brandon Saad has five goals and eight assists for 13 points.

the Kings will not try to get caught up in the Blackhawks saying that the pressure is on Los Angeles to close it out.

"Maybe they're feeling [momentum], but we know we're not going to allow that to happen," said defenseman Drew Doughty via NHL.com. "We're confident here. We know we could have won that game [Wednesday]. We just had a bad start. We're not going to allow them to take the crowd out. We're not going to allow them to get the early start. It's going to be the other way around this time. " 

Anze Kopitar leads the entire postseason in points (23) and assists (18) and has added five goals while Marian Gaborik paces the NHL in markers (11) and has added seven helpers to rank third on the team with 18 points. Jeff Carter is second on the Kings with 21 points while finding the twine eight times and adding 13 assists.

Jonathan Quick will man the crease for Los Angeles and is 11-8 this postseason with a 2.75 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage while Corey Crawford will be between the pipes for Chicago and is 10-7 with a 2.38 GAA And a .917 save percentage.

The Blackhawks try to force a Game 7 and keep their season alive while the Kings look to close out the series on home ice when the puck drops at the Staples Center tonight in Los Angeles for Western Conference Finals Game 6 as part of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
