Today at 3:35 p.m. ET, the Detroit Tigers (29-20) and Oakland Athletics (32-21) take the field at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland for the final game of a four-game set. The game can be live streamed here. Detroit fans can hear all of the action on 97.1 The Ticket while Oakland fans can do the same on 95.7 The Game.

Detroit plays the fourth contest of a seven-game road trip and looks to leave the Bay Area with a split in the series while Oakland plays the fourth game of its seven-game homestand and hopes to take two of three from their opponents today.

Rick Porcello (7-2, 3.88 ERA) takes the mound for the Tigers while the A's counter with Jesse Chavez (4-2, 3.61 ERA).

Chavez, 30, had started just two games in his career before 2014, but he is having a solid season thus far. He's looking to last deep into this game as he's lasted no longer than 5.2 innings in his last two outings.

"The last two starts, they've just been fouling off pitches and I haven't been making good 0-2 pitches, which has prolonged the at-bats, and that kind of hurts the pitch count a little bit," Chavez said per MLB.com. "So I think that's just the big key for me, don't prolong an at-bat."

Porcello will look to bounce back after allowing eight runs and 12 hits in 5.1 innings against the Texas Rangers last time out.

"I think last start I just left too much stuff over the plate and didn't pitch ahead and just didn't have them on their heels enough," Porcello said via MLB.com. "[Today], being able to execute pitches and hit spots and change it up is something that's going to be key."

Athletics outfielder Brandon Moss is tied for fourth in the American League in RBIs (42), is solely in fourth in the league in OPS (.925) and ranks fifth in the AL in slugging percentage (.561). A's third baseman Josh Donaldson leads the AL with 43 runs and is fifth in the league with 13 homers.

Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera is fifth in the AL in average (.323), second in RBIs (44) and first in doubles (18) while designated-hitter Victor Martinez leads the league in average (.341), tied for third in total bases (111), third in on-base percentage (.396) and second in slugging (.600) and OPS (.996) thus far.

The Tigers and Athletics close out their four-game set this afternoon at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland.
