Ronda Rousey Next Fight: Miesha Tate Takes Shot at 'Rowdy,' Says Cris 'Cyborg' Fight Must Happen [VIDEO]

It's no secret that UFC women's bantamweight fighters Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey and Miesha Tate aren't friends. Their rivalry is among the most bitter in mixed martial arts history, and though Rousey has beaten Tate twice, that hasn't stopped her from firing verbal potshots.

Tate's latest barbs egged Rousey, the top female fighter in the UFC and arguably all of MMA, to face Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino. "I want to see that fight and I think it needs to happen," Tate told Fox Sports. She then mentioned the irony of Rousey's willingness to fight at a bigger weight class to take on MMA legend Gina Carano, but not Cyborg.

Ronda Rousey will "bend over backwards" for Gina Carano fight

"It's ironic that Ronda Rousey offered to go up to 145 to fight Gina, but not Cyborg," Tate said. "She needs to be consistent. It needs to be 135 or not. In any case, I feel like that fight, it needs to happen."

Rousey recently made waves by calling Cyborg an "it," and accusing her of rampant steroid use. "I've said before, I don't care if she's injecting horse semen into her eyeballs, I'll fight her, but that's just my personal decision," Rousey said.

"But I can't make a decision for the whole division. I can't say it's the right thing. This girl has been on steroids for so long and [has been] injecting herself for so long that she's not even a woman anymore. She's an 'it.' It's not good for the women's division. It's not good at all."

She also noted that bringing the Invicta star into UFC could be a potential headache for the company going forward even if a Rousey fight would initially generate huge buzz and money. She could ruin the whole sport. Even though it's a fight a lot of people want to see, even if I beat the living crap out of her, it won't be good for the sport because then she'd still be in the UFC."
