This draft's quarterback carousel is one of the more difficult ones to predict in recent years, and with the smokescreens from various teams, its even more difficult to see who is telling the truth and who is just putting on a show.

Sports World News NFL Mock Draft 6.0
The latest rumor includes the Minnesota Vikings and their quarterback situation as they plan to pass on Blake Bortles if he falls to them at number eight overall. The Vikings have spread the rumors that they are not interested in any of the quarterback prospects at No. 8 and will seek alternative options in later rounds.
Hoge Calls Clowney 'Atrocious'
The Vikings have been low on all the quarterback options from the beginning, so this news should come as no surprise. Despite the reports, it would surprise me if they didn’t select Blake Bortles if he was to slip to them. Bortles is considered the top quarterback prospect by many and he possesses the most upside of the class. The Vikings could be searching the second round or even the back end of the first round via trade for their next signal caller.
I hope the @Vikings draft Manziel AND Murray, if Murray drops in to later rounds. Could mirror the Redskins from the 2012 draft. — Joe Cook (@juicyyjoe) April 16, 2014
Keyshawn Johnson Arrested For Alleged Domestic Violence
Vikings’ general manager Rick Spielman has denounced this class and has admitted the Vikings would redshirt whoever they draft. Adding a guy like Zach Mettenberger, who is recovering from a knee injury, is not out of the question for the Vikings, considering their game plan. Look for the Vikings to trade back into the first round to grab their guy before the rush of the second round leaves them with zero options.
