As Eric Decker is reaching a crowning achievement by playing in the Super Bowl on the field at MetLife Stadium this Sunday, his life is also full of wonder off of the gridiron as the Denver Broncos wide receiver and his wife Jessie James are expecting a baby girl, and James has started dropping hints about baby names.
According to E! News, James recently had a lavish baby shower that was thrown by her sister, Sydney, alongside close friends and family members and she was excited to spend the day with them as she prepares for a baby girl.
"I was overwhelmed by the love and support from my family and friends," the reality television star told E! News. "It was a magical southern celebration and the perfect way to welcome baby V."
The 'V' was the first hint that the expecting mother dropped towards the baby's name, leading to a lot of speculation over what James' girls' name will eventually be. E! News reports that James also revealed that the middle name of her and Decker's daughter will be Rose while her moniker will be "very southern and traditional."
The shower was an enjoyable event for James and her sister.
"It was a darling shower filled with beautiful surprises and touching moments," Sydney told E! News. "I love my sister and can't wait to meet my niece."
Before the baby is born, James will watch her husband try to win Super Bowl XLVIII when they take on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and the mother-to-be can't wait to watch her husband try to win the Lombardi Trophy.
"This is the best time of our lives right now," James told E! News. "This is what he's been working towards since he was a little boy."
Decker played in all 16 games this season for the Broncos and had 87 receptions for 1,288 yards while scoring 11 touchdowns.
