JETS vs DOLPHINS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Week 17 Live Coverage from Miami

At 1:00 p.m. ET the New York Jets (7-8) will take the field for the final time in 2013 in Miami when they face the Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium, with head coach Rex Ryan's future as coach possibly hanging in the balance. Watch the game on CBS or live stream it here. Jets fans can hear the radio broadcast on 98.7 ESPN New York, while Dolphins fans need only turn their dials to 560 WQAM.

Ryan's arguably done a masterful job guiding this group of players to seven wins already; had his club been able to figure out how to get out of their own way on the road they may even have made the playoffs. Gang Green was just 1-6 away from MetLife Stadium this season, and it could cost Ryan his job.

There's no question Rex's players have his back. "It's just one of those things where he really cares about his players," wide receiver David Nelson said. "Players appreciate that. Players know and they respect him for that. They believe in him and they respect him and they play hard for him.

Another player backing Ryan is quarterback Geno Smith, whom Ryan benched the last time the Jets and Dolphins hooked up. As a unit all the Jets have backed one another; offensive guard Willie Colon recently defended Smith against heavy criticism.

"He needs his time, and I think it's unfair for anybody to step out and say, 'Oh, this kid is not having a great year. Let's look for a new one,'" Colon said.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, are still hoping to reach the playoffs, although last week they controlled their own destiny and were shut out by the Bills.

"That's the worst part -- we had everything in front of us," safety Jimmy Wilson said. "We knew how important that game was, and to drop it like that without getting points or making impact plays or giving ourselves a chance to win is a big letdown. We just have to get ready for a home game and go ahead and finish our season the right way."
