Alex Rodriguez Steroids: Yuri Sucart Ordered To Submit To Deposition; A-Rod Agrees To Tell All Book Deal? [VIDEO]

The furor over Alex Rodriguez's arbitration battle with Major League Baseball regarding his historic 211-game suspension has quieted a bit, but new news could plant A-Rod back in the headlines.

According to reports, a Florida appeals court has ruled 3-0 that Rodriguez's cousin Yuri Sucart, who obtained the steroids A-Rod admitted to using from 2001 to 2003 as a member of the Texas Rangers, must submit to a deposition in the current legal battle with MLB.

In other news relating to A-Rod and his public lambasting of MLB, he is close to inking a book deal that is expected to net over $5 million that will be a "tell-all" page-turner that will dish the "full dirt of Major League Baseball's tactics." According to Latinpost.com A-Rod is also considering a documentary that will break down the entire process of MLB suspending him and the fight against that ban.

"This book is going to go into the real low-down dirt of MLB tactics and collusion with the Yankees to get him out of the game. Alex has also had meetings with Billy Corben on a '30 for 30'-type documentary about his story."

In a crackdown on 13 players connected to Biogenesis anti-aging clinic, all 12 accepted suspensions handed down by MLB. 11 of them received 50-game bans, while Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun, who was suspended two seasons ago but got off on a technicality, took a 65-game suspension.

Rodriguez has adamantly denied using performance enhancing drugs during the time MLB is suspending him for, and has also claimed he never intimidated anyone or impeded MLB's investigation. Those extra charges are the major reasons for the severity of his punishment.

A-Rod's appeal of the suspension during the summer allowed him to finish out the season for the Yankees, in which he batted .244 with seven home runs and 19 RBI in 44 games.
