Today at 2:45 p.m. ET Barcelona will host Celtic at Camp Nou in the final Group F game for both sides that will feature Barca looking to cement their top status in the group heading to the knockout stage. Live stream the match by clicking this link.
Barcelona hasn't wrapped up the top spot yet thanks to a surprising loss to Ajax, so fans can expect a focused Barca. "This is an important game in all aspects - we have to finish top, we have to win and put in a good performance. For us, every game is tough and each one has consequences," said coach Tata Martino.
Barca has the reputation and high profile players to strike fear in opponents' hearts, but Martino believes they need more substance to go with their sizzle.
"We have to be accurate and fast in our build-up and in moving the ball around. We'll be playing in a 30-yard strip of pitch and we need to keep up the pressing too to stop Celtic hitting us on the break," Martino said.
Adding intrigue to this matchup will be the return of Celtic midfielder Scott Brown, who recently had a heated run-in with Barca's young star Neymar. "I don't think Neymar does himself any favours by the way he behaves at times," Brown said.
Celtic coach Neil Lennon is trying to tamp down the potential flames between his side and Neymar, though, keeping the focus on the pitch. "We wont treat Neymar any differently from any of the other 10 or 11 world-class players Barcelona have in their team."
Lennon also complimented Neymar's skills, saying, "It was the first time I saw Neymar play live and I was very impressed and I think he will be a wonderful addition to the Barcelona team." Lennon couldn't resist throwing out a small jab at the end though.
"I think he is very talented but I stand by what I said on the evening, I did think he made more of the contact than necessary.
